There’s driftwood… and then there’s driftwood with character.
The piece I found today looked like it once belonged to something important.
A fence? A dock? A boardwalk plank?
A pirate ship? (Let me dream.) 🏴☠️😏
It was worn smooth like sea glass, sun-browned and salt-seasoned, shaped by time instead of tools.
And holding it in my hands felt like holding a memory the ocean didn’t want to let go of.
🌊 Flotsam Wisdom
The shore is the world’s greatest editor.
It takes what’s broken, what’s abandoned, what’s forgotten…
and sands it down into something simpler.
Softer.
Stronger.
Strangely beautiful.
Driftwood is proof that even when life tosses you around…
you can still come out with a story worth keeping.
