Then summer steps onto center stage.
And Sea Isle absolutely leans into it.
The Skimmer Festival kicks things off with classic cars, craft vendors, food, rides, and enough activity to make it feel like half the island accidentally wandered into one giant block party. Antique cars line the Promenade while people drift between booths carrying lemonade, snacks, and bags filled with things they absolutely weren’t planning to buy five minutes earlier.
Then weekly traditions start settling in.
Farmers Markets begin filling Excursion Park with fresh produce and local goods.
Movies Under the Stars transform evenings into family movie nights beneath open skies.
Free concerts spill music into warm summer air.
Beachcombing tours turn visitors into amateur shell detectives.
And Teen Night gives younger visitors their own dedicated evening of music and games. ☀️
Then there is Sara the Turtle Festival.
Because Sea Isle apparently looked at environmental education and thought:
“Needs a turtle mascot.”
Honestly?
Solid decision. 🐢
Then autumn arrives and the town shifts gears without slowing down.
The Harvest Classic brings hayrides on the beach, pumpkin decorating, pie contests, and enough hometown charm to make people suddenly start craving apple cider. Halloween parades march down Landis Avenue before ending in dance parties and costume celebrations. 🍁
And winter still refuses to sit quietly.
Holiday markets appear.
Winter Village transforms the town.
Then New Year’s Eve lights up the shoreline with family-friendly fireworks before the calendar flips over once again. ❄️
And perhaps Sea Isle’s most wonderfully specific tradition returns every year:
The Polar Bear Plunge.
Because apparently somebody looked at February and said:
“Let’s sprint into freezing ocean water.” 😂
Maybe that’s Sea Isle’s seasonal secret.
