Flotsam Friday: The Boardwalk Token of Forgotten Summer

Today’s find was a little token.
The kind you win or buy and immediately forget in a pocket until laundry day.

A tiny piece of evidence that someone once had a carefree beach moment…
and then promptly moved on with life. 😏🎟️

Holding it, I could almost hear it:

arcade noise
kids yelling
someone’s dad pretending he’s “not competitive” while trying to win a stuffed shark 🦈😂

🌊 Flotsam Wisdom

The shore collects our happy moments like receipts.

We don’t even notice we’re leaving pieces of ourselves behind:
a token
a ticket
a memory
a laugh

And months later, the beach hands it back like:
“Hey… remember when you were light?”

Yes.
Yes, I do.

🏖️ Beach Tag:
Sometimes you don’t need new happiness…
you need a reminder of the happiness you already lived.

Flotsam question:
What’s the most random thing you’ve ever found in a pocket that brought a memory rushing back? 😄
