Flotsam Friday: The Sand Dollar That Almost Made It

Today’s treasure was a sand dollar.

Not a perfect one.
Not the kind you sell in a gift shop for $3.99 next to the magnets.

This one was cracked… fragile… sun-bleached… like it had survived exactly one dramatic moment too many. 😏🐚

But that’s what made it special.

Because a perfect sand dollar is just “pretty.”
A cracked one is a story.

🌊 Flotsam Wisdom

Not everything beautiful is built to last…
but it can still be worth finding.

Even broken, this sand dollar was still doing its job:
reminding me that the shore makes miracles out of leftovers.

I held it carefully, like it was a tiny coastal artifact, and I thought:

Some things don’t need to be whole…
to matter.

Handle the fragile things gently… including yourself.

Flotsam question:
Have you ever found something “imperfect” that was still completely perfect to you? 🖤
