Sonnet Sunday: Bermuda, Like a Spell

Bermuda is a color the sea became,
a turquoise dream where sunlight learns to sing,
pink sand that makes the whole wide world feel tame,
and palms that sway like they remember spring.

It smells like salt and rum and open skies,
like sunscreen prayers and laughter on the air,
where every wave is warm enough to rise
and carry off your worries like they’re spare.

The water there feels ancient, bright, and kind,
as if the ocean finally took a breath,
and in that hush you start to gently find
a life that isn’t always chasing next.

So if your heart needs somewhere new to land…
Bermuda waits, with wonder in its sand. 🌴🌊✨
